Lou Ruggiero joined Miach Orthopaedics as chief sales officer in 2026. He brings decades of commercial leadership experience across the healthcare and medical technology industries, helping organizations scale from early-stage growth companies to businesses generating more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

Most recently, Ruggiero served as chief business officer and board director at Collagen Solutions (now Evergen), where he helped drive global growth and position the company for its next stage of development. Previously, he was chief sales and marketing officer at Enovis (formerly DJO Global), where he led the commercial organization through a period of significant growth and expansion. He has also held executive leadership positions at Embla Medical (formerly Össur), Hely & Weber Orthopedics, Pearson Assessment and Titan Scan Technologies, where he served as chief executive officer. He also serves as professor of the practice in healthcare management at High Point University. Ruggiero earned a master of business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a doctorate in organizational behavior from Creighton University, and he is completing a doctorate in leadership studies at the University of the Cumberlands.
