The BEAR Implant is the first medical advancement to enable your body to heal its own torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). That’s a big deal, because until now your ACL would have been replaced with either another tendon from your body or a tendon from a deceased donor. The BEAR Implant is different because it works with your own blood to heal the torn ends of your ACL back together.

We are committed to expanding our growing base of evidence on BEAR through our ongoing clinical studies:

  • Bridge Registry: Real-world outcomes are being collected on BEAR Implant patients
  • BEAR MOON: 150 patients randomized to the BEAR Implant or BPTB ACLR are being followed to study endpoints
  • BEAR III: 150 BEAR Implant patients are being monitored as part of our long-term follow-up study
  • BEAR I & II: Patients who participated in our initial safety and feasibility studies continue to be followed to collect long-term data

The BEAR Implant was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2020, and Miach continues to expand its base of evidence through post-market studies.
